Veiled Presence uses fragile materials and moving light to explore the layered masks we wear and the tension between how we appear and who we are. The installation explores identity as relational and performative, what is authentic, what is assumed, and what emerges in the space between presence, perception, and unfolding, as participants’ shadows merge with the work.

Participants’ shadows merge with the work, making them active agents within a dynamic system where human, material, and environmental elements interact, revealing the relational and emergent qualities of identity as it unfolds in space.

Fragile repurposed translucent lace, moving/programmed lights, suspension supports, projector, video, reflective surfaces, mixed-media elements for body representation. and environmental elements including audience shadows and spatial interactions. 10 m² floor area with 2.5–3 m high
