Hiraeth 2024
Hiraeth reflects the entwined oppositions of grief and beauty, love and loss, longing and belonging. . The work holds the essence of a journey shaped by these tensions: a heart suspended between two worlds, fractured yet full. It dwells in the quiet space of hiraeth, where presence and absence coexist, and where one is always, impossibly, both home and away.

The Other 2024
The Other reflects the fragile terrain of fractured identity, where internal selves and the world’s gaze collide, carrying the quiet ache of being seen as “other” while negotiating the liminal spaces of inclusion and exclusion, recognition and estrangement, across multiple worlds. Right: was informed by historical research of Irish convicts transported to Van Diemen’s Land on the First Fleet.

Mask 2023
Mask inhabits the fractured terrain of the self, a fractured, layered and abstracted visage that speaks to the many masks we wear, the tension between performance and truth, revealing the difficulty of recognising authenticity amid the masks we inhabit.

Alone in the Sunset 2021
Alone at Sunset dwells in the subtle rhythms of river and sky at dusk as the day wanes. The abstract forms explore the interplay of light, reflection, and the flow of the city, tracing the meditative cadence of cycling alone.
